We met them by chance, somewhere between the sky and the ocean at the breathtaking cliffs of Playa Amarilla in Tenerife, or perhaps it was simply fate. A pair of dreamers who left everything behind to travel and experience life to the fullest. Every encounter with people like them reminds us that following our dreams is always worth it because we never know what tomorrow will bring.
To capture the raw and authentic essence of their lifestyle, we decided to shoot this session using a mix of digital and traditional 35mm film. There is something profoundly magical about hearing the mechanical click of our professional analog camera—capturing the light, the wind, and the emotions exactly as they were, with no second chances and beautiful, nostalgic grain. Fleeting moments captured through this hybrid lens allow us to freeze time, to hold on to those brief instants when they were here, under the same sky, bathed in the golden light of the setting sun. It is exactly this kind of raw, unfiltered intimacy that inspires our approach to beautiful elopements in Tenerife—where the focus is stripped back to just two people and their profound connection.
By now, they’re probably far away, exploring another corner of Europe. They left the Canary Islands some time ago, but their story stayed with us. Every story is different, every story is unique.
