FAQ

How many weeks pregnant should I be for a maternity session?

The best time for a maternity photoshoot is usually between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy.
At this stage, your baby bump is beautifully visible, while most mums still feel comfortable enough to walk, move naturally and enjoy the experience.

If you're expecting twins or your bump is showing earlier, we often recommend scheduling your session between 24 and 30 weeks.

When is the best time of day for a maternity photoshoot?

For the most flattering light and comfortable temperatures in Tenerife, maternity sessions are usually held during the last hour before sunset or the first hour of the sunrise.

What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?

We recommend keeping your outfit simple, natural and comfortable. Nude or skin-toned underwear (seamless panties) works best, and a bra is optional depending on the outfit and style.

We also provide client dresses that you can use during your session.

Before the shoot, we will plan your outfits together based on the location and overall mood of your maternity photoshoot in Tenerife.

Can my partner and children join the maternity photoshoot?

Absolutely. Partners are very welcome and can be as involved as they wish. Some prefer to take part in every moment, others prefer to observe, both are completely fine. We always adapt the session to make everyone feel comfortable and natural.

Do you provide maternity dresses?

Yes, of course. We have a selection of dresses and we will choose the one that best fits you and the location we’ve selected for your session.

What if I feel uncomfortable posing?

That’s completely normal and very common.
We guide you through the entire session, so you never need to worry about posing. Everything is natural and relaxed, with gentle direction so you always feel comfortable and look your best.
Most of our clients are not models and that’s exactly why we focus on creating a calm, effortless experience.

Do you help with posing?

Yes, always.
We guide you throughout the entire session, but in a very natural way. The focus is on movement, connection and emotion rather than stiff posing.
We’ll gently direct you so everything feels easy and authentic, while still looking beautiful and flattering in photos.

Can I change my outfits during a maternity photoshoot?

Yes, you can absolutely change your outfits during the photoshoot, as long as time permits. For our 1-hour Classic Maternity package, we usually have time for 1–2 outfits to ensure we maximize your shooting time. If you would like more variety, we highly recommend booking a longer session. For instance, a 2-hour session is perfect for 3–4 outfit changes, giving us plenty of time to capture different styles without any rush.
