Our favorite time for a beach photoshoot is during the golden hour - the soft, warm light that occurs shortly after sunrise and just before sunset. This beautiful light creates a flattering, romantic glow, perfect for capturing those magical moments. It’s ideal for engagement sessions, maternity photos, or family portraits on Tenerife's picturesque beaches. The golden hour is available both in the morning and in the evening, so you can choose the time that best suits your schedule.
Blue Hour: A Dreamy, Calm Vibe
The blue hour, which occurs right before sunrise or just after sunset, offers cool tones and a serene atmosphere that many photographers love. The soft, diffused light creates stunning contrasts, making it ideal for capturing a peaceful, intimate vibe. If you prefer quiet and less crowded beaches, the blue hour is a perfect option for you.

While we don’t highly recommend shooting under the harsh midday sun, it’s still possible to get some striking photos around 14:00-15:00 if you love vibrant, bold colors. Just be prepared for bright lighting and harsher shadows. We always work with our clients to find the best angles to make the most of this time, but it’s not our top choice for natural, soft lighting.
