The Art of Being Photographed – 10 Gentle Tips about a photoshoot in Tenerife
A simple guide to help you enjoy the moment
- No stress, no pressure. Our sessions are never stiff or rushed. Just a relaxed experience with smiles, time to breathe, and a little fun. It's part of what we call Slow Photography.
- Think of it like a walk. On the beach, in the mountains, through a beautiful town. Take in the view. We’re just nearby, quietly capturing your story. Sometimes we’ll guide you – but most of the time, just be.
- You don’t need to know how to pose. Most of our clients are doing this for the first time. That’s fine. We’ll help you. The more you feel yourself, the better the photos.
- Less posing, more connection. Take a breath. Look into each other’s eyes. Hold hands. Hug. Kiss. Feel close, in your way.
- Movement is magic. Walk, spin, dance, jump, run. If you feel like it, jump into the water at the end! (Bring a change of clothes just in case.)
- Dress like yourself – but think of the place. Barefoot on the beach? Yes, but bring sandals – hot sand or stones happen. In the mountains? Comfortable shoes, maybe a spare pair. In a town or hotel? Go elegant. Feel free to go bold. Heels? Yes. Style? Always. More tips here.
- Look at each other, not the camera. We’ll tell you if we need eye contact. Most of the time, just enjoy the moment together. That’s what we’re capturing.
- Let go of perfection. Wind in your hair, sand on your feet, a shirt out of place – it’s all part of the story. Kids running wild? That’s real life, and we love it.
- Every connection looks different. Don’t try to copy photos from Instagram. Be yourselves. That’s what we want to see.
- Trust us. We’ll find the light, the angles, and the emotion. You just bring your story.
